Target Area: Weber County, UT / Davis County, UT
Outcome: The Party Entertainment tasked us with a goal that turned out to be both a blast and insanely daunting! Our relationship with them had been established advertising for everything from concerts to dance clubs.
They had the goal of hosting the largest outdoor High school Dance/Event ever! They even wanted to break the world record, and went so far as to contact the Guinness book of world records to confirm it. It was the perfect situation for a mobile billboard.
We once again utilized several methods, by creating street teams, to go to every high school within a roughly 100 mile radius, and outfitting them with a mobile billboard, printed flyers, posters, and giveaways. We also went to all the malls, and other teen demographic dense areas. This was coupled with an intense Face book, and Myspace networking campaign, along with a 2 to 5 pm radio campaign on the hip-hop station and contemporary hits station.
You can also check out just a small piece of the PR that was done, with coverage by local Fox 13 news, and an article in the Standard Examiner. Everywhere that the 15-18 demo was, we were there.
Its not easy as everyone knows to keep this groups attention for very long, but the mobile billboards were just too big, and too in your face to ignore. Even High Schoolers checked it out, and if mobile billboards got their attention, the rest of us wont be able to not look.
