Outcome: Smiths Food and Drug, a subsidiary of Kroger,
turned to HighImpactBillboards.com for the grand opening of what was to become the new model flagship of the chain, the Smiths Marketplace, built to compete directly with several other all in one chain shopping centers.
The mobile billboards were the perfect solution.
They needed a way to advertise the date of the grand opening to the local community, as well as the service of gasoline being available at the new location. So instead of hastily and shoddily erecting a temporary structure out by the road, at the two entrances to the store, we simply parked two perfectly sized, perfectly classy, and attractive, mobile billboard trailers, at both the entrances to the store by the road.
The grand opening was a huge success and, the mobile billboards, created a fun buzz within the community, as multiple customers explained that they came to the grand opening, because every time they drive past they were reminded by “those giant billboards on wheels.”
